Catherine Templeton is a conservative who gets serious results. She’s running for Congress because she believes it’s our responsibility to put a fighter in Washington with a strong business background to actually accomplish what WE need. She believes that our congressman should be a conservative all the time – not just when it’s convenient to flip flop for fame.
As the President of US Brick, Catherine built, managed, and co-owned a $100 million national company that builds and supports American families and infrastructure. She headquartered US Brick in the Lowcountry, creating well paying American jobs right here in the First District. While leading US Brick, Catherine became acutely aware of the dangers we face at home from massive government overreach, taxes, and regulations. As a national supply and distribution business, she understands the danger from countries like China who cheat and manipulate markets to their advantage.
Catherine wrote, established, and defended what has been called “the toughest immigration law in the nation.” Then, she fought the Obama-Biden Administration and the liberal ACLU all the way to the United States Supreme Court to see that it was enforced against illegal immigrants taking jobs in South Carolina. That law is why South Carolina has a special law enforcement division at SLED that supports the locals in deporting the criminals invading our country. She has always fought to secure our borders, demanded that our immigration laws are fully enforced, and supported completion of the wall on our Southern Border.
In public service, Catherine’s goal was to root out corruption and institute reforms. She tackled South Carolina’s largest and most complex agency, commanding a $600M federal and state budget and 3600 employees. As a government disruptor, Catherine cut $68 million out of the state budget and reduced bureaucracy by 25% in 18 months. At the same time, she fought the Obama-Biden Administration and corrupt AFL-CIO in federal court to bring tens of thousands of jobs and more than $1 Billion in investment to the Lowcountry. Maybe that is why President Trump called her a “triple threat” when he invited her to Trump Tower to consider her for his Labor Secretary.
If you have truly looked into her background, you have seen Catherine and her husband Morgan’s personal testimony on life and the second amendment. Catherine is 100% pro-life and a staunch defender of the Constitution.
In a few months, Mr. Trump will be our President and Catherine believes we need consistent conservative leaders who will support the America First agenda no matter what the establishment in Washington or press says. It is time to make progress for this Nation and we do not need politicians who flip-flop for fame or vote with Rashida Talib, AOC, and Adam Schiff against our own party and against our conservative values.
